This is the information portal for the shareholder-owned mutual water company - Villa del Monte Water Company. This is one of the ways we will notify our members of important information about the operation of the mutual water system. Other methods, such as email, text messages, fliers in your monthly bill, door hangers, and/or signs at the entrances to the neighborhood will also be used.
We are proud of our water plant. We hosted an open house several years ago to allow you to see inside the building. We sent out a post card to all of the addresses in the Villa, and we hope that we answered all of your questions. Background:
The water company is a mutual water company with 125 members in the Villa del Monte neighborhood. We have two sources of water: Laurel Creek & San Jose Water Company. Our water rights to Laurel Creek have been in place for more than 50 years! Since this is surface water, in years of moderate or light rainfall, the creek dries up starting around August and we supplement with purchased water from the San Jose Water Company.
